I was going to ask if there were pictures to go with this adventure. Good to know it has been properly documented. ;)
I'm not known for following recipes. I usually consider them more of a suggestion and then I just wander my way through. I do love to cook and bake though.

I'm also the DIY/assembly person in this house, but I'm not known for following instructions then either. lol I blame that on too many Christmas Eve nights spent assembling a pile of toys and just really wishing I could go to bed. | A lesson without pain is meaningless. I am completely obsessed with time, temperature and exact details when I am canning though. Thought of you when I was cooking and baking earlier today. I tried to follow the recipe for pumpkin pancakes, but didn't like the first couple so I changed it up a bit, and made a bunch of stuffed peppers for the freezer. Made an apple pie and realized my family has never actually written down a recipe for that.
