I think we used to call that "Corn Chip Chili Pie Casserole" but my wife, being from Ohio and thus hating anything that has the word casserole in it, required me to change the name to "Corn Chip Chili Cheese Stuff".
It's really just a baked nacho/chili fusion. |
I'm pretty sure a large part of Ohio would starve if you took away casseroles.

It's similar to apple crisp. It has an oatmeal, brown sugar, butter and cinnamon crust and crumble on top and the rhubarb is chopped in the middle with a vanilla sugar sauce.

I feel like this is something I would try and probably like but would be too rich to have more than a few bites |
It's best warm from the oven with vanilla ice cream, so a small serving is usually better.

Papusas are Salvadorean- think a homemade tortilla except it has pork, refried beans, and cheese cooked *inside* the tortilla. I don't mean the tortillas is wrapped around it, it is an integral part of the tortilla itself.

Avoid Cuervo like the plague.
My personal favorite (in the 'a normal person can afford it' class) is Cabrito Reposado.
Here's my (not detailed) recipe for a margirita-like cocktail:
1. Put some ice in a highball glass
2. Pour a healthy amount of good tequilla (~2 fingers worth, depending on your glass and/or preference)
3. Squeeze in a wedge of lime
4. Add a splash of OJ
5. Top with Squirt soda
Option Step 6: adjust any of the steps to personal preference
7. Stir and enjoy, a lot. |
Trying this tonight. I didn't find the same type you mentioned but did find a 100% agave, Hornitos Reposado.
