I agree we should spread around the responsibilities of leader and lookout, just to be safe early on.

I'm still unclear about what the lookout actually does. Looks like leader makes a decision that affects all players, but what about lookout?

Leader gets to buy a shotgun today.

1) Do we want whoever we elect to have this gun?
2) Are we planning to contribute money to the leader, or are we going to put it all on them?

Okay, so this whole time i've been reading Penner and thinking he was referring to his username being blue and not the word Town being blue in a role PM. Hence me thinking Penner was pulling D1 silly shit in D2 and me replying accordingly since multiple people (including myself) have blue usernames.

ok i am caught up. why are we electing Brian leader? he said he got 1 food right? are we sure we will stop at a place we can buy stuff (other than the shotgun) tonight? i would think we would want Brian to be able to hunt tonight.

Brian can be given items at night, so if a person gives Brian food, they should be able to still hunt for themselves (since hunting takes up your night action, but giving an item doesn't count a visit).

That's a tough break for the town, especially after we already lost our roleblocker. I understand the decision though.

It's unfortunate because Penner had a pretty solid role and could've been quite effective, especially if Penner had good reads.

Hostie reasoning is sound, though if this were a Helios game, I would've modkilled D1 for it.

I could make an argument that saying a particular word is a particular color is claiming something from your role PM verbatim, a violation of Hosties' Rule #5.

I could also say it's apparent you knew what you were doing was a violation of the spirit of the rules from your own posts.

Regardless, you did the crime, and the punishment fits the crime.
