So, I missed nearly all of D1. It seems like it was as much of a clusterfuck as normal. But one post stuck out to me from close to the end of the day:

Darkus

##unlynch ##lynch Vernon in case he is scum and people go after the people who didn't vote for him.

I get that Vernon was the inactive D1 lynch. Which....whatever. That's the policy*.

But why would you make this post? "go after all the people who didn't vote for him" is the kind of post that just does not sit well with me. You voted so that you would look good IF he flipped scum. Which says a lot to me. Why are you worried so much about if people go for people who didn't vote for Vernon? Seems like you were hedging your bets and trying to make yourself look good.



(*my opinions on lynching inactives solely on them being inactive without regard to potential alignment is well known around here, but I also know I'm in the minority on that opinion, so I'm not going to relitigate this now)

On a related note...let me go back to the daykill action. There are so many different things wrong with what happened there, it's not even funny. The daykill happened pretty damn early in the day. Darkus flipped Town. Nofo's stated reason for killing is, essentially, "fuck Darkus". Meta actions and personal policy votes (especially when we're past Day 1) don't serve the Town any good. All it does is give people pages of bullshit to sift through in order to figure out what actually matters. If you don't like people, then don't fucking play the fucking game. This kill that happened simply made more questions than there are answers:

-Is "fuck Darkus" the legit reasoning, or is it just an excuse to hide behind?
-Could Nofo have made that kill because the Mafia scanned Darkus and was afraid of that role?
-Is Nofo some kind of third party that needs Lois Lane dead as part of its wincon?
-Is there some restriction on the gun (aka, why did it have to be used D2)?
-Was the gun actually passed on, or is daykilling an innate part of Nofo's role?

So right now, I don't know what to think. If Nofo is just being bitchass trollish Town, then he shouldn't be Lynched. But it's hard to figure out if that's what is happening, because Nofo is just doubling down on the "fuck Darkus" attitude and really not providing much of anything to go on. I really don't like the way Nofo is looking right now because his actions are scummy as shit. But when someone is acting intentionally scummy, it's really fucking hard to figure out what's actually happening.
