Okay, so I took some damage last night. Not a lot, but not zero.

Normally, I would never bring this up...except for the part in which I used an action that should've protected myself from all attacks.

This means someone has something that can bypass protection (even when it says "all attacks"). And that doesn't strike me as a Town thing to be able to do.

If I'm reading this correctly, DS is attacking the person with the Final Smash...not to steal it (which is what attacking the Smash'd person normally does), but to protect that person?

Why would DS using the boomerang on Badger deal me damage in this situation? If I am bussed with Lamps, and the issue comes from DS and Lamps using abilities on Badger, then how do I end up with the damage? I don't see how DS using the boomerang wouldn't still cause Lamps to take the damage.

Unless I don't understand how DS' boomerang actually works, I'm very much missing something in this scenario.

I just googled Smash Bros and poison and it says that White Pikmin inflict poison, so yeah, Olimar.

I have no idea how Herm was poisoned, but I can 100% guarantee that a White Pikmin didn't do it.

DS action affects target X. That was me. Now X and Y are bussed. So it affects Y. Y is you. I THINK that is how it works but im not the host.

I understand that. The way it's described though is odd, as quoted in this quotethread (more letters lol):

W (DS) targets X (Badger).
Y (Lamps) targets X (Badger).
Z (Helios) targets Z (Helios).

Y and Z are bussed. Thus,

Z (Helios) targets Y (Lamps)
Y (Lamps) still targets X (Badger)
W (DS) still targets X(Badger)

Thus, I don't understand how Z (Helios) gets the damage. Unless the way it works is that DS' action deals damage to whoever targets his target, which means that damage, and not just actions, is bussable? Alternately, DS directly targeted Lamps, which would be bussed to me.

Perhaps the hammer is some kind of PGO-type action? Thinking about how the hammer automatically knocks the shit out of anything that comes in contact with it, perhaps the hammer automatically knocks the shit out of anyone who visits the person?

We've been discussing how the hammer is essentially the most powerful weapon released thus far, and just what way the hammer will wreck shit......and you want to give it to someone random!?

DS asked him if he visited Badger because then things would possibly add up but no. Then I come in. I visited Badger and was not dealt any damage oh ok. Looks like bussing was done so I got Helios' protection and Helios was dealt the 10 damage that was meant for me. The bussing has not been proven but imo it makes sense.
