This game is going to be strange as all hell. How the hell are we going to get information through lynches when lynch trains aren't as real as they are in other games, since people can go for Items instead?

We could institute a strong arm policy player side about the items. Something like the first person that claims an item gets that item, everyone else should back off and has to cast a lynch vote instead. And if you get an item one day, you can't try to claim one another day. I don't know, I know that idea really sucks reading it back.

I'm opposed to this idea. :)

In Overwatch scum had a clean sweep. Town just kept attacking town. Now with the objects the scum can all go for the same item and pretty much get it while ignoring lynching Wooooooo I am the ghost of Mario! Plus all the bad players who ignored my soft claim or just didn't give me a chance to actually claim. Amazingly shit players on this site.

2) flavor is irrelevant in this game. it doesn't matter what character you are. any character can be any alignment.

I didn't like the idea before of saying if we were attacked or not because it gives scum info.... But to Herm.....I did something last night and wasn't told if it went thru or not either Plus I was attacked small one but it happened nontheless

You know why Mafia was able to flawless us during Overwatch Mafia? It's because you people give out WAY TOO MUCH FUCKING INFORMATION. Today, there's been (at least):
-two characters claimed
-six people revealing damage
-three people revealing the number of actions they have

How in the FUCK do you expect the Town to win if you give up all this damn information? All you're doing is helping the Mafia figure out who to go after first!

Because first come, first serve doesn't take into account worthiness. Just because you are the first person to be online and claim an Item doesn't mean you are the best person to use that Item. I don't want Scum with offensive Items that could be used to wreck our shit, for example. And by this logic, if scum got to the Item first, they'd get the Item based on these rules. No questions asked.

Character claim? Helps minorlynat best. Damage claimed? Give one of them the turkey but also gives anyone that can watch a possible target. Number of actions? So what, I'd assume most have at least 2-3. So what if they give a number of moves. What they can do matters more.

Do you honestly think oversharing is going to stop at simply revealing this baseline information? We all know that eventually, this place is going to reveal all of the information, and Lynch those who aren't willing to spill all their secrets. (see also: every game)

Oh, and since this was a thing for a few posts:

Yes, I used the Final Smash. I wouldn't hold on to it. Only a fucking idiot would hold on to an Item that could be stolen by Scum.

Like I said, I don't trust anyone at this point and that's why I'm trying to get the items and the smash. It's also why I attempted to claim all the items yesterday before Boc clarified the rules. If offering up a little information to make people want to trust me with the smash is what I need to do, I am fine with that.

I don't think giving out the number of moves I have is that big of a deal.
