Timmah and Brian: What happened?

Okay, so...few thoughts:

1) We lynched third party, and there were two kills at night. One Town, one Mafia.
2) I wonder if Lamps killed Jamie. Lamps' role required him to make a kill each night. Perhaps, that was his kill?
3) What were the results of the duel? It couldn't be so bad for the loser since Brian wants to go again, but how good is it for the winner?
4) What does DS IS GG mean? I assume GG is supposed to be "Good Guy", but why the hell would it be sent that way? And what kind of role has the ability to investigate, encode, and distribute results like that? That message is clearly important because Hostie went back and added it in, which makes this doubly interesting to me.
5) As for Ahoda, I'd assume that one of those three names are Scum. I think that'd be a good place to start. Would those three like to speak up now? (:
6) Angi: Why did you think Alien was cult? Especially when the alien had such a clear third party win condition in its flavor?

There are some strange assumptions being made right now, imo. 1. Why are we saying there are 3 parties - alien, martian and earth? When did martians become NOT ALIENS? This is Mars Attacks, I'd say that the Martians are the mafia - if I'm speculating. 2. Lamps was town vig, from what I can see from his writeup. We had a mafia kill. I don't think we just assume that Lamps took out the mafia doc, I actually think that was third party/sk. I also don't think we can assume that mafia took out Lamps. It is possible, but not a given, imo. 3. The 3 caroler names are interesting - Maddie, Angi, and Herm? I think whoever said that one of them is likely mafia is probably right, assuming that Ahoda is town. If Ahoda is mafia he could've just subbed out the actual mafia name, hoping we'd chase our tails down a dead end path. 4. I dunno if I can see a role that both investigates and then posts those results in public. I guess it is possible.

1. Martians are host-confirmed Mafia. Check the Player List, Jamie is in Mafia red, Lamps is in Town green, and Greensday is in TP yellow.
2. I agree, I was merely speculating.
3. This is where we should start, for sure. I still wanna hear more from them. We've heard from Angi, but we definintely need to hear more from the others. Especially Maddie, since there was some suspicion around her (though, a lot of that seemed to come from Ahoda, which could be something interesting if it turns out Ahoda is scum).

If Alien was cult, it would've had Generic Cult as its wincon, just as Lamps had Generic Town and Jamie had Generic Mafia as theirs. Instead, it had its specialized probing requirement. Hence, Alien =/= Cult.

And now, I'll be gone for a while. My wife has made it abundantly clear to me that we had better get a Christmas tree today...or else. So, I'm going to go get a damned Christmas tree.

This...is a completely reasonable reason to know what happens in the duel. I have no problems with this explanation, and I'm kinda concerned why others would have a problem with it. On a related note...

It also says something about rewards and penalties possibly stacking. Also why does this matter? I made an assumption that may or may not end up being true, so what? It's weird that so many people are like "I wanna know why Brian has a theory!"

It matters because you began this day immediately campaigning to duel again after losing last time, and then you threw out a theory that losing duels could potentially lead to death. Which is pretty damn weird to me, personally. If you really think you might die if you lose again, why the hell would you want to duel again?

As for the three people in Ahoda's list, I'd rank their scumminess potential as Maddie > Herm > Angi, tbqh. Angi seems pretty Town to me, I really have no read on Herm, but something seems slightly off about Maddie. I'm not sure what it is, and I intend to analyze some more and figure out what it is, but something just isn't sitting right with me.

So, for now, I will put my vote where my feelings are:

Also, I want to hear more from all three on Ahoda's list. One of those three will end up being our lynch today, and I really wanna make sure we get the right one.

soooo a courier just delivered an envelope to me that contained a letter. This letter said that Lamps did not kill Jamie... he visited Farlig.

So...wait. Since we know that Lamps has to kill each night, that would mean Lamps tried to kill Farlig? And since Farlig isn't dead...I wonder what's up with that.

On another note, I find it interesting that all of our anon messages have involved DS in some way. Between the "DS IS GG" one and DS receiving this one, DS seems to be popular with the anonymous people! :)

Vanilla Mafia is also a role, though. That's a Mafioso with no other powers, just as 'Nilla Townie is a Town member with no other powers.

Still, I'm not lynching claimed cops unless I have a damned good reason to do so.
