So, how'd that Sab train work out for everyone?
Today I'd look at im317, Timmah, Lamps, and Helios from that lynch train. I also wouldn't be against pressuring Brian for his lurking yesterday. |
Based on the information I had yesterday, the Sab vote was, in my opinion, a reasonable move. Of course, I backed up my reasoning with lots and lots (and lots!) of posts and quotes! Unfortunately for us, Sab flipped Town. The vote had the wrong outcome, but my reasoning for it was based in the actual events going on in the topic, and NOT "better than Vern" or worse, "gotta get my ult points!". So...don't try that shit. |

You know Helios is scum when he summarizes everything and then adds to the discussion by picking out one random sentence someone says and writes an italicized diatribe about how it's curious and he really, REALLY wants to know more about it.
"What did you mean by this, though? You are eating a biscuit? A BISCUIT???? Seems a little farfetched to me. Really gonna need to hear more about this biscuit situation." | Yes
With some form of over the top, “Wait, what the actual fuck?!” thrown in
| A biscuit? Are you FUCKING KIDDING ME?
Say it with me... inactive biscuit is still biscuit. And my key to victory. |

Yet, you completely ignored his claim, which was 100% accurate. Ignored it completely. And you say you are paying attention. I could make a 48 quote post too, if I wanted, but I only need one to show you choose poorly by ignoring information. |
"I claim something" =/= "It's 100% true".
His behavior was scummy as shit. You yourself said so multiple times. His claim didn't change his behavior, and frankly, the ability to leave a mine to attack someone who visits a person isn't exactly the most pro-Town role out there. After all, said mine is indiscriminate, and could easily damage a protective role or an investigative role as it could damage a killing role. Plus, after Ahoda claimed, it would strike me as likely that someone would want to go investigate and see if that was a real claim. Leaving a mine to damage the investigator didn't strike me as a Town move.
Plus, again, his behavior was pretty fucking scummy! So sure, we know NOW that his claim was 100% true...but I did not know that THEN. Yet somehow, you're acting as if YOU did!? |

At the beginning of the day, I thought Sab was scummy. Then he showed up, posted, and made a claim I thought was beliveable. So, I changed my mind and unvoted. Its really not that hard to understand. |
On the one hand, this is sensible. Cast a vote, get a response, formulate an opinion. It's the smart way to go, and what I wish more people would do in this game.
On the other hand, I am still quite suspicious of the way in which you then tried to twist the whole discussion to the "people are only voting for "not vern" reasons" argument that the end of the day turned into. You knew damn well that, while some people were doing exactly that, there were others who had actual suspicions. Like me, for example. And you, as well. The main difference between you and I is that you believed his claim. I didn't.
Ugh, I'm torn. |

Difference being, not a single one of those voters after his claim made any reference to it. If they would have said, I don't believe the claim and voted, fine. But it read to me that they were ignoring the claim all together because it was easy. That's sketchy as all get out. |
Fair. |

Also, ##Vote: 317. Everything 317 did as it related to Sab was pretty bad:
1) There was the whole "isn't this lynch happening fast?" post that happened. When I first saw it, I thought he was trying to stall the Lynch of his scumbuddy. Now that we saw what Sab flipped, I think he said this to do the whole "look at me i'm soooooooooo not voting for a Townie guys" thing.
2) When I called him on it, he basically said that his post was because you people suck. No, seriously:
|
i do know better, but in a bunch of recent games here scum have been acting very stupid. i suppose i should have worded it differently. either hes town or this games scum team is smarter then the recent average. |
3) After this, he did little. Then, towards the end of the day, he went ahead and jumped on the Sab lynch. Why? Unlike some people, he was firmly in the "not vern" camp. Which as many people have said, both yesterday and today, seemed like Scum hopping on a lynch at the end for their benefit (and the fucking ult points, ugh the ult points).
4) When there was additional discussion towards the end of the day, he simply posted "fuck it, going to sleep". And left. Instead of contributing.
317 can come here and explain himself, and we'll see from there. But for now, this is where I'm going. |

Just got home. Presenting at a conference fucking sucks when you find out you're the presenter TEN DAMN MINUTES before you have to start. :pissed:
I'll go back and read everything, but I just wanted to inform everyone that my vote has been cancelled today. So...yeah. |

More to the point: It's day fucking THREE. Why are we still having joke votes with complete horseshit reasoning behind it?
"It's the way I always play" is a fuckass reason, and you shouldn't use it. Ever. |

so tell me who you'd vote to lynch, and I'll use my vote to lynch that person.
Otherwise, I'll probably end up throwing it on Chris or Angi, or someone like Merc or Brian.
|
Dafuq? Did you REALLY ask me who you should vote? Do you not have a brain to use in order to make a reasonable decision based on the actions of people today? "I'll probably end up throwing" a vote on someone in DAY FUCKING THREE is ridiculous. You have enough to go on at this point to make an informed choice! |
