Alright man, see you! Not sure what's for dinner, but be prepared for pesto! He descends down the ladder to the main floor, glancing briefly at the wall of customer Polaroids and exits through the front door. As the bells chime behind him, a thought crosses his mind. Damn, I hope he remembers to lock that door. But then a more important thought takes its place. I am so fucking thirsty. I hope she still has some of that lemon blueberry shit. Levi begins the walk home by zipping up his hoodie and putting in his ear buds. Was it this cold yesterday?


Levi has walked the streets of Makedewa so many times that it's easy for him to zone out. Muscle memory allows him to walk without worrying about the uneven cobblestones, and the unchanging scenery, although charming, was mundane to Levi. As a familiar melody played in his ears, he made his way towards The Maine Squeeze, lost in his own thoughts. I think I need new shoes. What's on tonight? Probably nothing. Why is summer TV so bad? I wonder how C9 did today, I need to remember not to spoil myself - stay off Twitter. Do I need to pick up toilet paper? I think we're okay. Don't need dog food, I saw a full bag the other day. What kind of breed is Garfy again? I should know more about dogs. We need to make sure to keep the garbage lids sealed, I'm tired of dealing with the racoons. I wanna see Infinity War again, I wonder how long it would take to download. Maybe I should make the trip out to see it in the theater this weekend. I just wish we had one here in Makadewa. One that isn't a shit hole. Actually...



Levi stopped walking and looked up. As if by fate, he found himself in front of the Beaumont, or as the adolescent community sometimes called it, the B-hole. It actually had a quite striking exterior. If it wasn't so poorly run throughout the years it may have actually been profitable. People don't really like to drive 45 minutes just for a movie, so it makes sense to have one in town.

Mom took me to see that Narnia movie back in the day. What a mess. Even as a little kid I remember the sound being out of sync, and then just cutting out entirely. She was so mad. I wonder if under the right management, this could be the next @venture...

Levi struggles to reach his hand up to his face and try to shade his eyes from the light to get a look around him. He tries to call out, "Hello?" but it's like the word gets caught in his throat.

What's going on? Have I been drugged?

What is going on?? Levi reaches for his phone to call 911.

Levi panics. This is so fucked up. What is going on??? Just my luck to be in this fucking mess.

He tries to pivot on each leg alternatively in an attempt to make it off the stage.

Still panicking, Levi reaches into his pocket and withdraws his trusty Leatherman, and unsheaths the blade, flailing it wildly at the figure.

Oh my god, someone else is here. Maybe she can help me. Levi struggles with his feet again before looking up at the woman. Does she have... green hair? No, never mind, that was a trick of the light.

He looks at her pleadingly and gestures to his legs, demonstrating that he can't move them. "PLEASE HELP" he shouts, making his lips as expressive as possible.

Levi bolts. Hopefully Wonder Woman has a better chance against this thing. He sees a sign for an exit and runs for it, heart pounding.

Levi is very cool.

Levi frantically tries to free himself of the curtains, cursing silently but vividly.

Seeing the crazy woman charge the ghost, Levi takes the opportunity to try and carefully climb the balcony while the spook is distracted.

Okay, okay... What should I try to fuck up first, the projector or spotlight...? Levi looks over to the woman who seems to be too preoccupied to make such a decision.
