I've been playing Bravely Default on weeknights since last Monday and I still haven't finished chapter 2. It's pretty good, very similar to Final Fantasy 3/5. |
i really liked ME3 but maybe because it was the only time i was able to express shepard's true gay self. i also enjoyed being an adept a LOT more in ME3 because it was so strong (i was the mix between adept and tech stuff in #1 so i dunno how strong it was in #1) and quick to cast all my spells. i liked the story but it felt very obvious for me. the ending was okay, but like you i was expecting the worst so it wasn't so bad. i also think i was drunk when i finished it so it probably softened the blow, but it wasn't so bad as everyone makes it out to be.
|
I never got to ME3 either. I was so excited to start playing it after I finished the 2nd one, but I think all the people raging about the ending really soured my interest. I'm sure it's great outside that disappointment but still. |
i am still playing the demo too!! i am super cheap so i've been having a lot of fun with it. i'm on the dragon right now so i think i'm almost done, but i've had a blast with it. i don't think i'll buy the full version until i get a steady job, though. seems like the responsible thing to do. | |

GLOVER
Despite my LUV for 3D platformers, I never actually got this game when I had a real N64. Always wanted to play it though. It's pretty good and the idea of taking the ball with you (and alternating between having to navigate it through difficult spots, and using it to help you to access new locations) is highly innovative, I can't think of a single other game comparable really. The camera is sometimes an issue. |
How about Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg? |
omg this was one of the reasons i really wanted a gamecube when it first came out, and then i never ended up getting the game years later when i finally got a gamecube because the game was nowhere to be found. i played it a crapton in walmart and toys r us though

i've been playing far cry 3 for the first time recently, and have really enjoyed it!
i haven't gotten very far in the main story,
|
i think my next mission is to invade a pirate ship or something? not sure. i think the last thing i did was get the mushrooms for the crazy doctor and that girl... |
because i've been trying to make sure i get all my upgrades for bag slots and all that jazz. and i've just discovered how much fun it is to liberate the camps or whatever. shooting the animal cages is amazing, but my favorite time was when i was just scoping the place out and a wild tiger came and ate everyone. i got the credit for taking the base undetected, and then got to skin the tiger to make some extra grenade pouch or some shit.
really fun game!

Played some X-com enemy unknown after getting it in a humble bundle. I like it. Still hate Cryssalids. Lost on my first try. Pretty standard x-com play through |
