This doesn't really make too much sense to me since both trains were on (now confirmed) townies. Otherwise I'd agree with you but I'm the context of there being two townies, it doesn't seem very scummy to vote like that

because his was the last vote (i think?) and would make him look really bad if redster hadn't been killed tonight. it was a really inopportune time for scum to vote

i seriously doubt badger would steal vern's vote and then be the first to mention it. it makes more sense for him to notice it since vern tried to vote for him.

that being said, i wouldn't be surprised if the vote stealer was town and just didn't trust vern to make a good decision (AND NO I AM NOT SOFT CLAIMING VOTE STEALER)
