Excited for this one. I doubt it will beat The Midnight Organ Fight for me but loving this band.

State Hospital is so good, unbelievable.
So far I’m enjoying this. The oil slick is pure torture though.

Yes Keep Yourself Warm is one of my favorites!
Also Backwards Walk and Modern Leper.

Modern Leper is also kind of brutal now, but also the relation to modern society is spot on. That song really grabbed me out of nowhere and made me realize I need to slow the fuck down sometimes.

Have you guys listened to the Tiny Changes tribute album a bunch of artists collaborated on? It’s pretty good. I love Julien Baker’s cover of “Modern Leper” and Daughter’s cover of “Poke.”

Yeah I was actually going to post about it lol! It's pretty good. I love both covers of Modern Leper a lot and it actually introduced me to Biffy Clyro, been listening to them a lot last week. I was even contemplating nominating Julien Baker's cover for Playlist #10 but then thought everyone probs had enough of the Frightened Rabbit lol.

Manchester Orchestra's cover of Backwards Walk is also giving me the chills. That cover was actually the song that made me go and give The Modern Organ Fight another listen a while ago.

I really really like this album. Mayyybe not as good as The Midnight Organ Fight, but pretty close. If anything, it's more consistent, almost every song sounds like a Frightened Rabbit classic.

The only song I don't like is The Oil Slick, and I could have done without Escape Route, but it's a bonus track so not sure it counts.

I've listened to this album numerous times and it still gets better every time I hear it. State Hospital is the absolute highlight for me. Acts of Man, Late March and Nitrous Gas are my other favorites.

This has potential to become my favorite album of all time tbh, so I'm considering giving it a 10 - but tbf I kinda have to give it a 9 I guess since it's not there yet, but damn I really love it.

Snow Still Melting is also a very good song. Damn i love this album.

I officially gave it a 9.
