| There are too many songs here that are battling for my vote. Will probably vote based on what songs were special to me in the shit year that was 2020.
This list as a whole is not nearly as good as the Q4 one though.
My picks:
Melody Gardot “Morning Sun” - Easily one of the best songs I heard in 2020.
My Chemical Romance "My Black Parade" - Loving this song that was completely new to me when I heard it last year. One of the songs that instantly made it to my 'liked songs' in spotify.
The Perishers "Sway" - This is one of those songs that never fails to cheer me up, no matter how dark and depressing these times are. One of my go to songs in 2020.
Honorable mentions:
Rufus Wainwright - "Cigarettes and Chocolate Milk" - Yeah yeah yeah this song is amazing.
Breaking Benjamin "The Diary of Jane" - Really good song. Would've been my fourth vote probably.
Feeder "High" - One of the best songs of all time IMO - was it the song of 2020 for me, maybe not. |
