My Josh vote is mostly based on vibes, but I also thought his suspect list came across as very forced yesterday, given how little there was to go on at the time. It was too early for that imo, so it looks like scum trying to blend in as town to me.
It's not too early for lists now though, as we learnt a lot yesterday, Here's my list:
Leaning Town
Ahoda - For his role in the Brian lynch
Farlig - ""
Lamps - ""
Herm - ""
Mittens - ""
IM - Feel like this is town IM
Cody - Claiming bystander, seems believable to me atm
Not sure
Cavin - Openly claimed to having a visiting role which was tampered with. Seems like a town move to me. That said, he made that dodgy post asking if people bought my claim or not, rather than offering his own thoughts. Which would be a typical scum move!
Primate - Claimed to be blocked same as Ahoda N1. If one of them is lying, my money is on Primate, but I think they are both telling the truth atm.
Nav
Timmah
Spin
TIB
Penner - Asking if scum would alert Brian to be more active was either a major scum slip or a totally innocent question from a townie. I'm leaning the latter at the moment honestly. I think scum would be more cautious. Not sure about Penner enough either way at the moment.
Sus
Josh - For reasons stated above
Rodney - Reading his posts back from yesterday I get the impression he was searching for any excuse to shift the vote off Brian when it started going that way. He even suggested switching to Cavin at one point when the votes were piling on. It might be totally innocent, but worth noting.
Buffy - I'm sensing some reticence from Buffy atm, i'm getting potential scum or third party vibes. Maybe it's just that she is busy like she says. Of the three suspects on my list, I feel better about the other two.

Let’s round up Primate’s contributions this game:
1) Lynched Sock
2) Got into a possible conflict with Ahoda on blocking (also no block power on mafia JOAT so less likely now both are telling truth
3) Didn’t help lynch Brian -> went for Nav
4) Spewing more questionable at best garbage right now
Wall Street may be down but Primate’s scum ranking is skyrocketing |
Starting to think Penner could be town.
Not because I agree with anything in this post though

That hurts Wikey. And I thought we just bonded over our hosting experience. :( |
I did say I felt less sure of you than Josh or Rodney! Plus you said you were busy so I'll give you the benefit of the doubt.
I agree with you that there is possibly a nexus role in play btw

There's a Nexus role or lightning rod role that draws all roles to them but that's not my role. Also, I think people would be told if they were redirected. |
Sounds like maybe everyone including the watcher got drawn to whoever that is so primate just basically outted everyone with a visiting role last night if that's the case
|
If that is the case then we'd have a guaranteed killer among his list.

I think he means Brian. I thought the same thing. |
Oh yeah, I understand now.
Josh is still my fav to lynch anyway, I'm mostly just trying to get some conversation going!

I thought a lightning rod/nexus type role could account for Primate and Ahoda both claiming to be blocked N1.
But if that is to account for these weird results, it would appear to have a different effect each night?
Also yeah, one less death last night with no roleblockers in play is odd. A backup may account for that at least, but it wouldn't account for all the other stuff we're seeing.
There's some fuckery going on here for sure.

I'd put said fuckery down to a third party role atm
There might be a simpler explanation for this though, we just can't see it yet

Lightning rod makes all actions go one place, right? |
A standard lightning rod passively redirects all actions at night to itself
It's usually only a one off thing too

But a lightning rod would also usually redirect kills, and they wouldn't likely survive attacks.
Also, they would have been attacked last night if this is what was happening.
So a standard lightning rod doesn't make sense.
Tbh I think we may be way off track here

I'd also say we may be wasting our time speculating on this right now. Maybe things will become clearer as we progress.
For now, who does everyone think has been acting scummy?
Let's see those lists | |

Cavin an Ahoda both hinted at visiting roles and neither were seen by Primate last night, which casts more doubt on a lightning rod scenario
