Come on then Curtis, what other tricks do you have up your sleeve?
Seriously can't believe you aren't dead yet.

Oh shit, I missed the spoiler tag to Timmah's role flip. Sounds like he could be im317's backup.
Anyway, there ain't much point in arguing, I've said all I need to say about already. TWICE Curtis has avoided a lynch due to a tie, he has by and large stayed in the background, joined lynches on scum late, etc etc. I've said all I need to say about him.
If I am scum, then I must have found Ari to expendable on Day 4 (keep in mind Mafia had only lost one member at this point) and I also must have really wanted to lynch my scum mate twice Redster, given that I started trains on him two days in a row.
It HAS to be Curtis. His bizarre reasoning that it must be me because I changed my mind yesterday is dumb. I was flipping between him and Timmah all throughout Day 8, and Timmah struck me as the most sincere in the end. Curtis' lynch on me was a blatant reaction vote.

Also, this idea that Curtis was the easy lynch this morning is bollocks. Me, Curtis and Timmah each had one vote when I cast mine.
Far safer to stick to my guns from the night before if I am scum and lynch Timmah, right?
Also, 317 said he trusted Timmah more than me yesterday. Explain why I would want to lynch you over Timmah if I am scum. Surely I would want to keep you around so im317 wouldn't know who to shoot the following night!

I ALWAYS refer to me and town as 'we' when I am town. This is silly, you are grasping at straws.
Anyway, I think this is the quote you are referring to where I apparently said 'scum NEVER throw their scum buddies under the bus'.
|
Also, the idea that mafia would have to try something as unorthodox as lynching two of their scum buddies strikes me as a bit far fetched. The main thing that fucks mafia over in the later game is mass claims, and as we have seen that hasn't been such a pressing issue this game because vanilla has been a viable fake claim. |
I think the point I was trying to make is that me and Timmah were both on Ari and Redster very early, and for one of us to be scum, we must have clearly found both of them expendable. Even with the long con theory it seems so counterproductive to lynch two of your team mates when every number counts.
Scum often throw their team mates under the bus...but you rarely see them driving it! That was my point...not "scum never lynch their scum buddies FULLSTOP"
Perhaps you are thinking of a different quote...

Curtis is quite clearly putting words in my mouth now, if that is the quote he means to reference as me saying "Scum never lynch each other!!!!"

317, if I've been final mafia for awhile, why on earth would I not kill you? At the VERY end of Day 7 you said that you don't trust me at all. If I was Godfather or Mafia poisoner or whatever, I would not risk you attacking me and my team losing that way, it makes absolutely no sense for ScumCurtis to do that, NONE!
Ask yourself why it makes sense for anyone to have kept you alive. There's only one reason, because the final mafia member was relatively trusted and was never at risk of you shooting them at night. That person is Wikey. That person is not me |
I can think of at least two possibilities!
1 - The risk was worth it. 317 could easily whittle down the town if he could be persuaded to continue misfiring.
2 - You would have been worried like all of us that im317 was the SK. You wouldn't want to risk your kill failing due to BP third party at this stage.

Why was it certain that im317 killed Chris?
The only ones who would know for sure from the get go would be scum themselves...which again, is why I find your vote for early vote for Ari most suspicious. You also unlynched Ari after he claimed, so I'm not sure how you can cite that as evidence against me.
It wasn't an unbelievable claim either, given that we had seen no evidence of a third party existing.
If waiting for proper confirmation on something as important as a roleblock makes me scummy, then you guys can go ahead and lynch me. im317 was BOUND to show up at some point...he took his time about it but I was sure he would.

I think you are overplaying just how much im317 wanted to shoot you, but he will know better than me!

Also, it's funny how you believe actively leading a lynch train on your scum buddies is a totally worthwhile and valid pursuit, but risking keeping the vig around to whittle down town is not.
And you say you wouldn't keep im317 alive going into night 7, even though it was really obvious he was going to shoot Schrauben, who was acting shady as fuck. So i'm not buying that.

I don't keep bringing up the Ari/Redster lynches to defend myself.
I keep bringing them up because they are successful scum lynches, which tend to be the best things for getting reads on other scum!
I hope 317 shows up soon and just ends this one way or the other.
Honestly Curt, if this goes your way well done. You deserve it! I have to go, will check back later if possible.
