I am also vanilla town.

I was going to hold on claiming, but I see no reason to at this point in the game. In fact, I think a mass claim is in order.

I could buy Christian putting five vanillas in the game, perhaps even more. JC's role suggests there is a larger proportion than usual.

Not sure what to make of Schrauben otherwise. Going to look back at earlier days.

So, there is not much to work with on Schraub, but this is what I have found glancing through his posts:

- He advocated a preference for JC shooting Jay, but didn't push it that hard.

- On the day Ari was lynched, he initially came in saying he found me, Curtis and Ari the scummiest, and lynched me. This was when Ari was suspect no.1 for having been roleblocked by Buffy (Granted we was waiting on im317 to confirm). Only later when it was apparent Ari was definitely going to be lynched did he join the train.

- On the day Redster was lynched, he again said he found me and Curtis scummy. He eventually joined the Redster lynch.

He has consistently shown a hesitance to lynch scum, but one thing you can say is that at least he has been consistent about his suspicions. He has regularly listed myself, Curtis and Jay among his top suspects. However, given that Jay flipped town and I believe Curtis to be town too, that doesn't exactly work in his favor!

Regarding his behavior today, i'm not sure what to make of it. Him messing around saying he knew Herm killed JC could be interpreted as scum trolling in a last ditch attempt...but he dropped the act quickly if so. I'm not against a Schrauben lynch right now.

Not because of the claim, because of his posts. It certainly seems like he was hesitant to join those lynches on Ari and Redster.

Also, Herm...1 time BP sounds like something a Godfather might claim (:

Hm, I don't know, it seems a little too easy.

I certainly wouldn't write it off, but thinking about it the actual Godfather would have to be pretty crazy to claim TOWN BP at this point in the game when so few players actually remain.

Also, should we rule out third party completely? The thought occurs that a limited cult leader might be in play. I say limited because they would surely have overrun the game by now otherwise.

Also yeah, vanilla is clearly a decent fake claim for scum in this game.

The lack of evidence of a third party disturbs me, I gotta say. When was the last game we had without one? Has there even been one?

I wasn't basing that on the two mafia lynches, I ranked Curtis higher because I think there would have been a proper effort to save him on the day the vote tied between him and Jay if he is scum.

Though the difference between you both is marginal for me. Indeed, if you base it off of the two lynches on scum you look better, but I don't think Curtis avoided lynching either of them out of reluctance. He seemed on board with both lynches early on, but was a little relaxed about when he placed his votes.
