Not sure if this is a typo. A "raging clue". Is that something other than the late Ari vote?
So we have two nights without a Mafia kill. Buffy blocked Ari night 3, which likely explains that one.
Night 2 is harder though. We can rule out Buffy's block on Rose. I'm not really sure, I doubt they forgot to kill that night like Herm says. I prefer the theory that Mafia and 317 both targeted Ahoda.
Also, given that im317 is claiming his action went through last night but didn't reach his intended target, there appears to be a busdriver/redirector of some description in play. Bus driver makes more sense to me, because you would only see evidence of their existence sporadically (some nights they will target two players who aren't visited at all).
That means they would have had to figure out who im317 was going to target last night. No mean feat.
I am basing this on the assumption that im317 is telling the truth. I believe he is.
Because even if he is lying and pretending to be vig, the last thing he would want to do is take a shot at any of those who died last night. Even for a fake vig it would be a risky and dumb move. Better to carry on as they were, killing the suspicious/inactive townies
A 3rd party JOAT type role is possible I guess. But I'm 50/50 on the idea. I guess if such a role was in the game, they could have had a roleblock which they blocked scum with night 2.
It also has to be said that if there is a third party, we can dismiss most of the usual types we see in games. Traditional SK is obviously not in play, a cult is unlikely (unless the leader is inactive, recruiting extremely well, or biding their time), nobody countered Ari's fake claim meaning we can rule out an arsonist. It doesn't leave you many other options. So in that regard I could buy a third party JOAT.
But then you have to ask what powers they have. Did they poison Brian? I don't think so. The same night he was poisoned he was also roleblocked. Unless the poison also blocked, that sounds like a coordinated attack. Did they silence JC? Again, silencer is usually a scum role, I don't think a 3rd party would have as much use of such a power.
It's hard to say. It does disconcert me that we have no evidence of a third party, when there is one in almost every game.

I'm putting this out there now. I will be shooting the gun I received this afternoon some time. I am planning on picking my top scum target and shooting them, unless someone has compelling evidence to change targets.
At the moment, my top scum read is Henry. This is because he a) adamantly disbelieves my silence claim, b) hasn't done anything to help town all game, and c) called me a cunt.
If anyone has compelling evidence to save Henry, you better get to it. If that does surface, I'm then probably looking in the direction of someone in the Schrauben/Redster/Jayadamo/Dylan/Canuck group.
No offence JC, but if I was the one handing out guns, you would be far from my first choice in this game! I'd have given it to im317 or Buffy. Keep that in mind as you make your decision. Whoever gave you it might not necessarily be town, and they might be banking on you shooting the wrong target.
Regarding Henry, I'm not totally against it, but I also think there are better options.
For starters, one of your reasons for shooting him are personal! Calling you a cunt shouldn't be cited as a reason for shooting him, because it doesn't reflect on his alignment either way.
Your first two reasons are better, but:
1 - Henry isn't the only one to have voiced doubts about your silence claim. I lynched you yesterday partly because of it! Granted I am more inclined to believe it now, but at the time I was dead set on you.
2 - Regardless of alignment, Henry rarely does anything to help town. In fact, in the only game I can recall him playing well he was Mafia GF! But most of the time he generally goofs around, tunnels on players for sketchy reasons, and does little else. Should he get a free pass for that? No, all i'm saying it's not really evidence that he is scum, he plays like this all the time.
I'm not even sure the gun should be used. I know I was against not using the gun last game when Curtis got one, but that was a very different situation. For one thing, the stakes were lower because it was earlier in the game, there was a definite target in Redster (who if he was telling the truth about being BP would have survived anyway).
And the fact that you recieved it in the first place rubs me the wrong way. Why didn't im get the gun, or Buffy?
Just so we are all on the same page, in most games here, if the mafia have an additional killing role (like a one time unstoppable killer) it can be used the same night as the normal attack. Sometimes there will be a clause, like the unstoppable killer can't go out for both kills, but that's about it.
And yes, it did occur to me that Buffy and im317 are likely night targets, but this is operating under the assumption that the gun giver wouldn't just get their gun back if their target died the same night. I see no reason why they wouldn't.
And even if they did, there wasn't only two confirmed townies to choose from. There was four going into last night.
im317, Buffy, Rose, Norbert.
Any of those four you could safely list as town last night. Not one of them was picked. Granted, three of them died in the space of one night, but who could have seen that coming?
All in all, I'm simply saying handle with caution!
Regarding im317 as scum, the only possibility I could see is that he is the SK and was blocked Night 1 by scum, and has been skating by with the vig claim since. I find it unlikely.

You guys are so damn scared of using a gun around here. I don't get it. If I got a gun I would pull that trigger in a heartbeat. I still can't believe Curtis didn't shoot me last game. I would have shot me lol.

I don't see why he is holding back his target. Sounds like a scummy thing to do, so we won't be able to figure out exactly what happened. Seems like it would benefit us to know who he targeted. Or am I missing something?
Yeah, it would also benefit scum to know who he targeted last night. He's doing the right thing by not saying anything, and I find it scummy you are calling for him to reveal a name.
Ok, I feel better about the gun now that Canuck has claimed. I reckon if it was a scum role he wouldn't be claiming.
I think JC should use it then. My top choices would be:
Dylan - My top choice after some thought. Dylan soft claimed a visiting role the other day for no reason. He said he did so to help settle the argument about what info the hosts give out after visits, which is the stupidest reason to give away role info. He has done nothing but follow everyone else, and seems like typical lurking scum to me.
Jay - Acting very sketchy. Asking JC to shoot him today, general scumminess throughout the game!
Redster - He said im317 was scummy for holding back on his target last night. Generally lurking.
Ultimately, it's JC's choice, but I'd rather we took a shot at someone who has done something suspicious, rather than someone who is acting the same way they do every game.
I asked anybody for evidence that Henry is town. I have seen nothing other than Wikey jumping to his defense stating things like "this is how he always is" and other garbage.
If Henry turns up scum, I think we've found a partner.
As someone who has known Henry for years and seen him play countless mafia games, for someone new here to dismiss my claims as garbage is a little premature don't you think?
Let's get one thing straight, I am not defending Henry. I am trying to point out that you are essentially taking a shot in the dark by shooting him. Because he is ALWAYS antagonistic, he ALWAYS says dumb shit, and he NEVER contributes. Yes he might flip scum. But you could say the same if you line up any inactive in the game with no evidence against them and threaten to shoot them.
Meanwhile there are other targets who you can make a stronger case for. Dylan, Redster and Jay are three examples I can think of. I find it rather annoying that you asked for outside help on who to shoot, but as soon as someone suggests someone other than your original target, they are scummy and clearly protecting their scum buddy!
