I keep thinking Strong Belwas will just show up our of the blue and the producers will be like "Surprise!" but I know that ain't going to happen. Why didn't they cut Daario instead? God.

Anyway, I am kind of looking forward to this particular part of the Dany story but not nearly as much as I am to see the aftermath of Joff's wedding at Kings Landing.

And to those who do not read the books:

Next season is likely to catch up with all the books released so far, taking the show up to the fifth one.

George RR Martin is currently writing the sixth novel, of a planned seven (although there might be an eight in the works now) and he takes his time writing. The situation right now is that unless the sixth book is released early 2015, the show runners will have no source material, and will simply have to go on whatever GRRM has told them about the plot. And even if he does manage to release the sixth book in time, he has to follow it up with the seventh and perhaps final one in no more than a year after. Given his track record, this is highly unlikely to happen.

The way things look now, A Song of Ice and Fire will end on TV before it ends in the books.

It feels like they might have wanted to make the scene more shocking, but I think it would have been infinitely more so the way it was in the books.

Tywin was really good.

Oberyn is cool but he hasn't had enough screentime yet to really entertain people. We need more of him.

And new Daario continues to not piss me off, which is a bad sign.

Can I just say that Samm is a fucking idiot.

He could either let Gilly stay at Castle Black, surrounded by men of the nights watch, who would very likely be executed if they lay even a finger on her, or he could take her to an unguarded brothel in some awful village and leave her with a creepy cockney serial killer who hates wildlings...

What did he do? He took her to the brothel OBVIOUSLY.
