Kiwi was all over the place with his voting yesterday.

He started by saying early on before the note was revealed:

Then when DR asked him what he thought of Coby's note when it was revealed:

I think Wikey could be a good bet.

You would think the note having Nofo on would affirm his suspicions, and he would be gunning for him even harder. But nope!

He eventually remembered he still suspected him a bit later:

im, Wikey, and nofo im's role seems townie..... Leaves Wikey and Nofo. Rose could shoot one of these two, lynch the other?

There was a lot of him trying to get other peoples thoughts on it, like he didn't want to commit to one too much.

Until finally...

I won't be on tomorrow so going to lynch Nofo. I have had a feeling on him. ##lynch: nofo

Put yourself in scum's shoes. If you are smart you would have seen that yesterday could only end with the lynch of myself or Nofo. And given that I had already made my defence by this point and people were happy enough with it, Kiwi would have seen that a Nofo lynch was probable. It looks to me like he was saving face with this lynch.

And any mafia defending Nofo yesterday had nothing to gain from diverting his lynch, because if I had been lynched and flipped town, it would be obvious Nofo was scum, and anyone who had defended her yesterday would look bad.

Sacrificing him was the only reasonable course of action. Kiwi does not look any better for starting the lynch train.

I suspect he is our Godfather!

But we will see. Let's hear him out.

Wow, Kiwi, those are some great reasons. Based on yesterday, where I pointed out all the reasons why Wikey was being scummy as hell, and then lynched a mafia member?

So, Rob yesterday couldn't have acted any scummier if he tried.

When Colby came forward about the note, he subtly questioned its legitimacy. And then, after asked for his opinion on the lynch between me and Nofo, he said this:

I think Wikey hasn't done anything overtly suspicious that I've noticed. Then again, he's Wikey, and that generally means perma-scum, but that's a metagame reason, and a lousy one to boot. I'd have to go through the threads again to form a more complete impression on Nofo, but from what I've gathered he seems abrasive and confrontational. So, in short, he's doing nothing out of the ordinary.

But...

Alright. Having re-checked, I think I'm leaning more towards Wikey than Nofo. While Nofo's posts don't generally tend to be helpful, it's more a case of him trying to be helpful and failing than anything, as far as I can tell. Wikey, on the other hand, showed up one time, proclaimed that he'd figure out the scum later, and then disappeared for the rest of the phase. That reeks of a "hey guys, I'm still alive so don't think I'm UTR!" post, and those are a pretty generic scum tactic. He could just be busy, mind you, but it's hard to tell.

I also think it's suspicious as hell that Wikey's openly asking Dr to shoot Nofo, we already agreed that shooting anybody could be disastrous. Seems like it could be a scum tactic to make us lose another number and get a scum majority. Even the low detector thing is scummy - if we've got one we don't want them to reveal themselves, and that's basically what they'd have to do to verify his claim.

One thing which is putting me off is that Rob is not usually so blatantly scummy. But he is giving off so many tells.

Admittedly, that post of mine he cited as his reason for lynching me was quite reasonable. It was a dodgy post. But still, his defence of Nofo was quite fervent.

Rob - Defensive of Nofo yesterday, subtly disputed Colby's note, called me out a lot.
Lamps - Not his usual helpful town self.
Mal - Didn't actually notice he was playing until I looked at the playlist. Mal is usually quite active.
Greenday - A kind of dubious role claim yesterday, which I still find odd.
Simplton - People were actually reluctant to day 1 lynch him this game.

Patrick - Almost always lurking so hard to get a read on him.
FF - Lurking as always!
Korr - Been very aggressive to almost anyone. This is not unusual for Korr. Can't tell either way yet.
