Episode 1
The eighteen new castaways, divided into three tribes of six, were given two minutes to ransack a boat filled with supplies and load them onto their rafts. Upon arriving at camp, Patrick from the Brawn tribe formed multiple alliances, including one with Herm and KC and another with Boc, and targeted Buffy for her perceived weakness. Later, a bug crawled into Herm's ear, which caused her pain, but KC was able to pull it out. On the Brains tribe, Rose was unable to back up her claim about knowing how to make fire without flint, and Teos, Tricks, Curtis and Outlast formed an alliance against the older Rose and Vic. Teos had a panic attack and was consoled by her tribe mates, but they worried about her behavior. The women of the Beauty tribe—Zersch, Shadow and Miko —quickly bonded. Though they considered recruiting Simplton to be the fourth member of their alliance, they lost trust in him after they caught him looking for a hidden immunity idol.
Dylan lost the Brawn tribe's diving mask, which caused them to struggle retrieving their paddles; though they recovered during the cart-pulling portion, Buffy panicked on the puzzle and they lost the challenge. Back at camp, Buffy and Dylan were targeted due to their struggles in the challenge. KC told Buffy not to scheme because they were voting against Dylan, but she continued to campaign for her safety, which angered him and Boc. At Tribal Council, Dylan's pleas convinced Boc and Patrick to vote against Buffy, which caused a tie between her and Dylan. But on the revote, Dylan was unanimously voted out.
Episode 2
At the Beauty camp, Simplton found the hidden immunity idol inside a locked box buried beneath a tree, with instructions to find the key at the top of another tree, but he was unable to retrieve the key. He later bonded with Brian despite their vastly different personalities and lifestyles. On the Brains tribe, Rose continued to annoy her tribe with her constant bragging, while Vic and Tricks fought over camp life. At the Brawn camp, tribe outsider Buffy gave the tribe fire after trying for five hours.
Beauty placed first, with Brains in second. Back at the Brawn camp, Patrick and KC continued to target Buffy. However, Herm convinced Buffy and Boc to form a girls' alliance and target Patrick, though she later had second thoughts. At Tribal Council, Herm revealed that there had been multiple plans floating around, which alarmed Patrick and KC. After being questioned, Herm outed the girls' plan to vote Patrick out and blamed Buffy, who denied it. Ultimately, Buffy, Boc and Patrick decided Herm couldn't be trusted, and she was voted out.
Episode 3
Though she was spared again at Tribal Council, Buffy was still on the outs of the Brawn tribe. She found a clue to the hidden immunity idol, which she shared with Boc, but Boc secretly tipped off Patrick and KC, and all four raced to claim the idol for themselves. With KC's help, Patrick snatched the key to unlock the idol. At the Beauty camp, Simplton also retrieved the key to unlock his tribe's hidden immunity idol; Patrick, KC and Simplton discovered that two hidden immunity idols could be combined into a "super idol" that could be played after the votes are read at Tribal Council.
Later at the Beauty camp, Simplton reluctantly helped kill one of their chickens but was comforted by the rest of his tribe except for Vernon, who offered no empathy. Vernon's attitude set the girls against him, and Zersch asked Brian to join up with the girls to vote Vernon out. On Brains, Tricks and Outlast decided to betray their initial alliance with Teos and Curtis, who they perceived as bigger threats and less loyal than Rose and Vic. However, Rose and Vic disapproved of Tricks and Outlast's arrogance, and aligned with Teos and Curtis against them.
Beauty placed first, while Brawn narrowly edged out Brains to win their first challenge. Back at the Brains camp, Tricks and Outlast planned to eliminate Curtis for being the biggest perceived threat to them. Though they conspired with Rose and Vic to split the votes between Teos and Curtis in case of an idol, Rose and Vic didn't trust them, and told Teos and Curtis of the plan. At Tribal Council, Outlast revealed the plan to eliminate Curtis but, when the votes were revealed, they were tied two apiece between Teos, Tricks, and Outlast. On the revote, Tricks was unanimously voted out.

Episode 4
After Trick's elimination, Outlast vowed to turn on his Brains tribe-mates once the tribes were swapped or merged.
After the tribes dug in the grueling heat for nearly an hour, the Brains tribe placed first, with Beauty in second. Following the challenge, Brian, Boc, and Rose were treated for heat stroke and exhaustion; Brian was medically evacuated from the game after his heart rate continued to drop. Back at the Brawn camp, Buffy confronted KC for telling her to "keep cheerleading" during the challenge, which further alienated her from her tribe-mates.
After the Brawn tribe lost yet again, KC openly claimed that Buffy had no chance of surviving the upcoming Tribal Council; later that night, he was proven correct, and Buffy was voted out.
Episode 5
Curtis found the Brains tribe’s hidden immunity idol. Later that day, the 13 remaining castaways were shuffled by random draw into two tribes of six, with the leftover castaway exiled to the former Brawn camp and joining the tribe who lost the next immunity challenge the day after their Tribal Council. The Chan Loh tribe was Brains Rose and Curtis, Brawn Boc and Patrick, and Beauty Miko and Vernon; the Gondol tribe was Brains Teos, Vic and Outlast, Beauty Zersch and Simplton, and sole Brawn KC; Shadow was exiled. On both tribes, the former Brawn and Brains planned to eliminate a Beauty due to former Beauty Shadow joining the losing tribe. At Gondol, KC and Simplton bonded, as did Boc and Rose on Chan Loh.
Chan Loh won immunity. Back at the Gondol camp, Teos, Vic and Outlast continued their plan to eliminate a Beauty, while Simplton and Zersch recruited KC to get rid of Outlast for his arrogance; Simplton revealed his idol to Zersch and KC, and planned to use it that night to forgo the tie. However, Teos told KC that the target was Zersch instead, and KC—knowing that both Patrick and Simplton had idols, and that they could be combined—tried to convince Simplton not to play his idol. At Tribal Council, Simplton listened to KC's advice, and he and KC joined the Brains to vote Zersch out.

Episode 6
After Zersch's elimination, Outlast considered betraying fellow former Brains Teos and Vic, and conspired with Simplton to vote Vic out next. At Chan Loh, Rose tried to align with Vernon. Before the reward challenge, Shadow officially joined the Gondol tribe.
Miko lagged on untying the buoys for Chan Loh, and Gondol won the challenge. Back at camp, Miko—already distraught after her ally Zersch's elimination—worried that her performance in the challenge would make her a target, but Rose assured her that she was safe, and the two aligned against Patrick. Vernon told Miko not to align with Rose, but Miko didn't appreciate Vernon's patronizing attitude. At Gondol, Outlast recruited Shadow for his new alliance. Vic, wary of Outlast's behavior, confronted him and the two argued.
Chan Loh narrowly won immunity. Back at the Gondol camp, Teos and Vic realized that voting Outlast out would cost the former Brains their majority, and realigned with Outlast to vote Shadow out as to not alienate new allies KC and Simplton. However, after Outlast broke the news to KC and Simplton about changing the target to Shadow, they and Shadow decided to target Outlast instead. To avoid a tie, Shadow and Simplton tried convincing Teos that Outlast had been targeting her. At Tribal Council, though Teos initially wrote down Shadow's name, she crossed it out and voted for Outlast instead, joining Shadow, Simplton and KC in sending him out of the game.

Episode 7
Back at Gondol, KC reprimanded Teos and Vic for being untrustworthy: Vic for voting against Shadow and Teos for changing her vote. The next day, at Chan Loh, Boc and Patrick spotted a bulge in Curtis' pocket, and assumed he had a hidden immunity idol. Later that day, the tribes merged. The four remaining Brains (Teos, Rose, Vic and Curtis) realigned, as did the three Brawn (Boc, Patrick and KC). Needing six votes to form a majority, both sides courted the Beauties; Simplton and Shadow quickly joined KC and the Brawn alliance, while Miko and Vernon entertained offers from both sides. To gain Vernon's trust, KC told him and Patrick about Simplton's idol. Rose's brazen attempts to align with the Beauties alienated them, and a worried Curtis revealed his idol to Teos, as the two considered using it at the next Tribal Council.
Vernon won the challenge; back at camp, he and Miko decided to team up with the Brawn alliance, who formulated a plan to split the votes between Teos and Curtis to flush out Curtis' idol. However, before Tribal Council, Jeff and a doctor visited the camp to inspect some of the castaways' injuries. Curtis was evacuated from the game after the doctor judged that a wound on his knee could possibly become infected, and Tribal Council was cancelled. Curtis left the game with his hidden immunity idol, and became the first member of the jury.
