It attempted a joke every 3 seconds and was filled with cringe moments every time a joke failed. Don’t get me started on the kids

No no. Don’t even. This was overt. That was the marvel formula tenfold. The tone was too comical and the serious moments felt sudden and sharp- out of place. The plot was rushed and messy. 12 hours later I’m still in shock how bad it was. I will give you that it had a few jokes that were lol funny but overall it was such a garbage movie.

I remember really enjoying ragnarok. Like I left that theater entertained. I took the tone seriously and remember it being funny. This new movie felt like it was trying to be funny the whole time. And the fucking children and their acting and that one scene oh my goddddd I wanted to walk out.

I’m surprised you liked it as much as you did, since you guys are critical of marvel movies and their bottled formulas. (Which I understand) This movie was empty of heart and purpose. It felt like a kids movie with adult jokes. I will shit on this movie any chance I can. It made me question my hobbies and interests.

Regarding your comment in the spoiler - I had no idea. Ew is that why that’s even a thing? Because I absolutely hated that at the end of the film.
I don’t remember Ragnarok but like with GOTG I feel I took it seriously despite it being a comical movie. The character of Hela actually meant something. She was Thor’s long lost sister and a threat to Asgard. This new villain was like a random villain of the week

It had its funny moments but when a joke failed it sucked me out of it. Like what am I watching. Lady Thor trying her catch phrases? Oooooooof
