My family has a trip planned to Italy in June. Apparently its like a lot worse there right now. I cancelled because I'm buying a house in two weeks and can't afford it but I think the rest of my family is still planning on going

I'm not really TOO concerned about it overall, it'd be kind of cool if they made us all be stuck at home for two weeks

I’m at home in a two-week (at least) doctor-ordered quarantine. Waiting to hear if I’m getting a test...

I always wonder about that. Are you allowed to order food/groceries? Do they leave it at your door?

Yeah I ordered food tonight and just had the delivery guy leave it on my front steps. I’m supposed to sign for a UPS package tomorrow, though...not sure how that’s going to work out.

We had a whole big meeting at work about this. I told my drivers if people refuse to sign then to let them use their own pen and sign one of our info notices rather than signing the DIAD like usual.

Unfortunately UPS won’t ever close because we need to keep transporting goods to people who are stuck home so I won’t be staying home

Yeah but what if people can’t actually open the door?

They should leave it outside

I was supposed to close on my house yesterday, then it got pushed back two weeks and now NJ is getting hit so hard that they're saying they might shut the state down and if they do I'll have to wait even longer to close

Yeah like imagine if this thing was more deadly and just how unprepared pretty much everyone was for it

Being able to test positive while not even showing symptoms is the scariest part
