I was talking to my friends about this the night Gonzaga beat South Carolina, but I've never seen a team make the championship game and have an easier road to get there.

They beat

16 South Dakota State
8 Northwestern
4 West Virginia
11 Xavier
7 South Carolina

That averages out to a 9 seed lol. If they beat UNC I will give them the credit they deserve, but I still think its the same as every other year where they are overrated except this year they haven't run into any really tough teams except maybe WVU.

Seeding isn't the best tell of how good a team is. Northwestern and WVU are really good basketball teams.

Oh I know. But that's when you're talking about the difference between like a 1 and 4 seed maybe. When you have a chance to play a top team in the Final 4 and sweet 16 and you play teams that aren't really anywhere near that talent wise, it's a pretty big indicator in my opinion
