Buffy walked aboard the bus and looked at the carnage in front of her. As she walked forward Willow and Xander followed behind her onto the bus. She turned to them.

"This doesn't make sense. They aren't drained of blood. They aren't going to turn. They're just dead. It's-" She paused and looked back at the bodies. "Pointless. Vampires don't do pointless."

Willow spoke softly and looked around. "It's Drusilla. Nothing she does has ever made sense."

"Right, but this wasn't just her. It wasn't for a meal. This had some sort of purpose that we aren't seeing."

"We need to tell Giles. He'll know where to start." Xander said quickly, as if he was nervous or scared.

Buffy sighed. "This looks like last time. It doesn't make any sense."

"What do we do, Buffy?"

"You two need to go to the Magic Box. It's some sort of warning or sacrifice. I'll finish patrol and meet you guys after. Get Giles and Tara."

Buffy and the others walked off the bus and looked at the side. There, scrawled in the blood of the dead driver was a three pointed star.

Buffy looked at Willow and Xander. "It's The Master. He is back. And somehow, he's got a group. Come on. Something's up." She walked off into the night, not afraid but worried about the future of Sunnydale. This couldn't be good.

It is now Day 1. The day will end in 24 hours, or when a majority is met, whichever comes first. With 27 alive, you need 14 to reach majority. Plurality is in effect today.

And I still say that two Buffys for me was not confusing in the slightest, and I only considered I might be wrong in protecting you because a lot of people seemed super convinced that your defensiveness was suspicious. My vampire detector is not as good as yours. I dunno, at this point most people that are suspicious could just as well be town. The people who think I'm being suspicious because I jump between decisions are either paranoid town or scum suckers trying to set up a potential lynch target.

I'm making a rule against character fishing because of you. For shame.
