I was not allowed to save Christian at any point, and I never mentioned that before now. With my role I feel like going after Christian would be too big of a risk- but maybe that’s intentional? I just don’t see a solo mafia player chancing accidentally killing themselves.

I was hoping that if it was me that ended up dying it could have potentially revealed me as an unconverted baby. My character is Baby Yoda after all!

Lamps is beneath Christian on the player list. If I were able to save Christian, Lamps would have been the kill.

The reason I thought I was the baby was because I was Baby Yoda, but I never had a “baby” tag, just “boy”

Mafia knows I have a limited redirect ability. There shouldn’t be any reason for them to have known that I was ineligible to select Christian, so since they did decide to go for Christian last night, they had to have known there was a possibility that Lamps could have been killed instead.

This was the player list. Killing Christian runs the risk of killing Lamps if I were to have used my power on protection. If Lamps is scum, that is a HUGE risk in deciding to kill Christian, but theoretically it could have been a last ditch hail mary to squeak on by as a “town clear”

But other people have had hidden powers revealed later on that could make your inability to change alignments stuff null and void. You're not even the top two people I'd think who could be the baby, but you're the only one who has said you are a baby. Why would you even say that? Vern has to be the serial killer if Rodney isn't? If there is one. And there has to be either one more mafia or a baby who can kill. Or both. We had two kills last night. Neither of which were my doing. Right now the person we think who could be the sk and someone who has said they are a baby has voted for me. Yeah, I'm suspicious of that.

I think everyone should go reread Jamie’s reveal. It specifically says “you cannot kill your baby”. If the baby was a convert...why would Jamie have incentive to kill them in the first place? I think the baby was just required to activate the family win condition and potentially has nothing to do with the family itself.

Let's just do a little thought experiment here. Jamie was tasked to look for his baby. My character is a baby. Let's just connect those two and say, for the sake of this argument, that I was the baby.

Look at the wording from above, plugging what we know/assume in for the redacted parts of the original role. If the baby was actually converted, knowing that Jamie could NOT kill the baby, wouldn't the win condition read "your goal is to be the last two alive, or three if Wikey is still alive"? I think we have kind've fallen into a trap of assuming 100% that the baby is a threat we need to worry about, but there is virtually no indication in any of the role flavors that point to the baby winning with Wikey and Jamie. The baby could die in a lynch or at the hands of someone else and Jamie still wins.

I think the possibility is always there that there is some evil baby out there, but do any of you have roles that would even make sense to be the baby other than myself? I think our MAIN priority is finding a sixth scum, because that seems like our most likely obstacle in getting the win at this point.

If we lynch Stargate and they flip scum, and the game doesn't end, I say we look seriously at a Vernon lynch tomorrow as a potential serial killer. If we kill Vernon and the game STILL doesn't end, regardless of his flip, THEN I think is the time that we start to prioritize looking for a baby or a potential 7th scum, but at that point we should know based on number of kills what sort of threats we're looking for.

Buffy has given me town vibes all game, and the optics of making Janelle a villain in this toxic BB22 climate? Yikes. Zach's read on Nav was sound and all of his posts added up to his story, from my perspective. Lamps is a potential scum but I still think it's doubtful that he would allow himself into a position where he could potentially kill himself out of the game by going for the Christian kill. Mal used his all powerful one-shot on Timmah which gives him brownie points. Vern is Vern.

Based on all of this I feel very confident that a Stargate lynch is our best possible option for this round. If we're wrong, we're wrong, and we can consider other alternatives and scenarios, but of everybody left that lynch is the one I personally feel best about.

I also keep forgetting that Lamps said something about being the one to give Mal the sole lynch power. No one else has claimed that and it doesn't seem likely he'd have that kind of a role as scum.

Was this because Lamps is food and visited Mal?

Yeah I would like a commitment from Vern not to kill tonight if Stargate flips town. I'd probably be the target as the confirmed townie left and accidentally killing a town would not be good for the numbers.
