I lost a lot of interest when Guillermo Del Toro had to drop out. Instead of something potentially different we're just gonna get LotR 4 and 5. Not a bad thing, but I was excited to see what del Toro would have brought to the world since visually his style is unique.

I'd rather see someone new tackle the material so we get something fresh! And to see PJ use his talents on a new world. I just feel like it'll be more of the same when there was a great opportunity for something different and more interesting. I mean the Trilogy was great but I think it works so well on it's own, and these two movies had potential to work well on their own as well. Now i think it'll just seem like the same entity.
