Does this mean the cult is dead??

317's role really confused me. Did it mean that he automatically recruits whoever the Mafia was about to kill and save them? Or that if he happened to select the same person as Mafia he would save and recruit them?? I really don't get it

My voting record this game hasn't been amazing and almost everyone has tried to pin something on me including multiple Mafia and cult members. I feel like I am the most obvious townie here and yet every day I am accused of something new

Curtis your theory about me is highly unlikely- and another thing is that I die first in almost every Mafia game so why would anyone want to waste a role on me knowing I'm likely just going to die anyway.
