I picked up Stephen King's "The Stand"

And also "Armada" by Ernest Cline because I loved "Ready Player One" so much

Here are the books I've read in the past year or so, in order from favorite to least favorite:

"Ready Player One" - Ernest Cline
"Harry Potter books 1-7" - J.K. Rowling
"The Game" - Neil Strauss
"Ender's Game" - Orson Scott Card
"Stranger In A Strange Land" - Robert A. Heinlein
"Unbroken" - Laura Hillenbrand
"Farenheit 451" - Ray Bradbury
"A Game of Thrones" - R.R. Martin
"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" - Douglas Adams
"The Martian" - Andy Weir
"The Giver" - Lois Lowry
"1984" - George Orwell
"#AskGaryVee" - Gary Vaynerchuk
"The Hobbit" - J. R. R. Tolkien
"Dune" - Frank Herbert
"I, Robot" - Isaac Asimov
"Foundation" - Isaac Asimov
"The Quickie" - James Patterson & Michael Ledwidge
"The Martian Chronicles" - Ray Bradbury
"The Truth" - Neil Strauss
"On The Road" - Jack Kerouac
"Starship Troopers" - Robert A. Heinlein
"Off To See The Wizard" - Scott Meyer

Based on all of these books, do you have any recommendations for me?

Notes, I cannot find the sequels to Hitchhiker's Guide on Audible so I think those are off the table for now. I will look again though. And YES, I have read ATTWN but it was a long time ago and yes it was amazing. I also recommend you guys watch that movie, it's super old but sooooooo fucking good. Likewise, I haven't read Murder on the Orient Express but that movie too is fucking awesome.

I still enjoyed the ones at the bottom but not very much. I think those are the ones that lacked tangible plot lines and yeah some a little sense I suppose.

I've started that book 3 different times. lol Never finished.

Finished it a while ago but update, this is one of my favorite books I've ever read. Absolutely awesome.

Since then I've read Stephen King's The Shining which was fine. Interesting ending. And now I'm in the middle of Stephen King's It, which is really good

Dark Tower is a possibility for my next but that series seems like a lot.

The JFK Stephen King I might do as well.

But I kind of want something more... fun? For example, Ready Player One was the best fucking book ever

IT is fantastic right up to the end when you get mad. Really mad.

But still worth reading.

Pet Semetary is probably one of my favorites from him.

I'm really close to the ending. Nothing made me mad yet but now I'm looking forward to it lol

Well, this gives me hope that maybe the next time I start to read it, I'll get through it! lol

Seriously man it does take some time to get into it. So much character development to get through. But give it a chance and then you'll be hooked
