Hello TIB & Curt!
Miniseries Part 1

I thought this was really, really good -- and I am excited to finish Part 2 probably tomorrow.
I am loving all of the character storylines. In particular the New female president and The Son to Edward James Olmos, both of which I assume are still alive. Everything happening on the BSG is cool and I agree that "the gift shop having to go to war" is a fun concept, and using relic fighter jets. I like the Asian girl and her Boo Thang storyline, and also Hot Cylon and the Cylon fucker, whatever their names are! Can't say I care too much about the hothead girl fighter pilot yet but I'm sure she will grow on me.
The SFX don't bother me in the slightest. I think they are fine, and honestly a lot better than I expected them to be.
The world is very intriguing. I definitely want to know more about all the civilizations and what the setup of it all is like.
I am also curious how the miniseries plays into the Tv Show. Does it at all? I have no idea. |

The thought of a press crew is hilarious to me. Like do they just sit around and chill and do nothing and then all rush up for the one press conference ever?
Everyone wants them to find the cylons but no one wants an investigation. Sounds like America.
I was frustrated when the tribunal just ended. They were pretty close to the truth. And really Boomer has 2 men falling all over her now? Sigh.
Tense episode overall, but feel like the witch hunt should have stretched out. We will see. plowing into the next one. |

Are we really letting what a Cylon agent told us about Adama affect things? Super dumb. If he was an agent this whole thing would be over already.
LMAO at him getting caught with 6. The way she's dressed though i woulda locked the door.
I love how Boomer's test took minutes and the rest of the fleet will take 11 hours one at a time. Little lazy writing there.
I hate the doctor and I hate Ellen.

I am enjoying more storylines for a change. I guess more locations is more like it. I agree seeing Tigh take control has been very interesting for a change. And those wigs were hilarious. Definitely enjoying the Kobol stuff and the attack on the ship was exciting.
Looking forward to seeing where the Starbuck storyline goes. Them driving in a noisy ass car doesn't seem like the smartest idea..... but, alright, let's go with it. |

President storyline is a little annoying but I've never care much for any spiritual storylines in shows. I liked Crashdown but had a feeling he was toast. Kind of wish we got to explore Kobol some more though. I felt like there could have been some more discoveries to add to the mythology of the show but I guess that's just the LOST fan in me talking.
Tigh is really fucking things up. Him pulling out the flask from his sock was just LOL also. Dude is always packing and that was such a silly place for him to rip a swig, out in the open hallway, but still trying to act conspicuous.
