in my defense the town i did try to protect were the DNA expert twice and the caroler once. not my fault mafia didn't take out key town role(s)

imo you play that role by collecting samples from people early and then mid to late game you take a sample from a crime scene. that way your suspect from the crime is still alive, and maybe you already have there sample.
