I think Simp is just being Simp. Same with Jeff. What I am looking at is the fast pile of votes on ff yesterday for no reason. It was quite obvious he wasn't going to show up and I think a few mafia rode that train to ensure a townie lynch.

about this...

But anyway as a real defense why would I draw so much attention to myself as mafia? Why would I not just sit in the background and lynch FF for the same reason and just play it cool for now? Blowing up on town for making a move which I don't agree with isn't a very smart play as mafia.

I actually don't agree with this. I'm of the opinion that mafia would not "sit in the background and lynch FF" rather, they would just sit in the background. Unless I'm not understanding plurality, FF would have been the likely lynch since before your original D1 post. For me, it makes more sense that mafia would simply not vote and draw suspicion onto the bandwagon.

Of course, I have ulterior motives as I was one of the bandwagoners and I'm town.

... i agree about this making more sense then scum dumping excess votes on an inactive.

Justin @ 9/12/2013 9:27
Ya'll seem to be trying to put yourselves in the shoes of super-logical, appropriately active mafia and that probably isn't the case.

Having some BWs in these early phases does a lot of telling IMO. No reason to try and stop them.

BWs?

Earthbound already kinda covered this, but this doesn't make any sense to me. Plurality was on yesterday and the "biggest" trains besides the FF one all had a single vote each. There was no reason for that to be a mafia-led train. There might've been 1-2 on there but that's about it

I think the people who didn't vote are much better suspects. Like Jeff, who as I said before sat back and tried to subtly cast suspicion on everyone while offering nothing of his own

about this. i didn't vote FF because it would have been adding another vote to someone who was already getting lynched unless they showed up. and if FF had shown up my added vote would have made it more difficult to switch to a different lynch vote. which is why i feel like anything more then +2 votes(as in 2 more then the next highest) on a inactive based lynch is stupid since each additional vote makes it exponentially more difficult to change the lynch outcome in the event the inactive does show up.

now to see what this challenge thing is

Ugh what the shit? This sucks because I think both are town.

same here

Shawn @ 9/12/2013 21:24
Wouldnt a tie be a no lynch? If so then no because thats the worst thing we can do.

when the choice is to lynch someone you think is town or to no lynch i think a no lynch can be the best outcome. the fact that its very early in the game so were not close to scum getting majority helps, as does the early death of 3rd party cult/SKer.

We don't know that these 2 people are both town for sure so a no lynch is not a good idea. One of them could easily be mafia as much as they can be town.[/QUOTE]

its possible but i dont feel it. looks like we will get half the answer in a bit.
