im thinking there has probably been at least one survival in the mix. we had 1/3/1 deaths but we know one of the deaths night 2 was failed recruiting by the masons. seems like there is a good chance we have 2 kill attempts unaccounted for, slight chance of only 1

night 1 i tried to delay Farlig but my action was unsuccessful. figured maybe he had no active ability or something. night 2 i picked Curtis and when he up and died i figured it would be best to keep that to myself since someone might get the wrong idea. night 3 i was a bit paranoid about the cult and decided to try for someone i could see as the recruiter. so i picked Jeb.

now confirmed town Rose is saying my ability and flavor targeted her nights 1 and 3 and Stargate is saying it targeted him night 2? this makes no sense at all. maybe there are 2 people with my exact role? kind of fits with the theme and the multiverse stuff. Jeb did you get delayed last night or is this even more complicated?

im317, if your action was unsuccessful N1, then why would Rose experience your action that night? Rose has no reason to lie. Someone with your role would have reason to lie with it targeting Rose twice. But there's really no reason for you to come out and claim this role if you are scum either so idk. Doesn't sound like Jed was smoked/roleblocked/knew the mechanics when he was talking about what happened to Rose and I, which points to your role being a bastard one that targets random people. But if that was the case, is it really likely that it targeted Rose N1 and again N3? Doubtful. It's more likely it was redirected. But for that to be the case mafia would have had to have an ability to glean your role at night and be able to use their redirect on you back to back? Otherwise why would they when Rose didn't mention anything happening to her after that first night? It's all very confusing.

i have no idea why it was unsuccessful night 1. best i can come up with is that i got redirected to Rose and the KEVIN thing protected her from it. but she specifically said it didnt do that. unless it did and she did not know it did because she did not use a night action? think that is what she said.*

Welp today is boring. Two people visited badger prior to badger being put to rest. Those two people were Rodney and JJ. Rodney obviously didn’t kill badger so that leaves my friend who makes this even more enjoyable after all the name BS. Three people visited Curtis before he was offed. Now that two out of the three and volunteered that information and don’t seem scummy (ahoda and IM) that leaves my OMGUS voter shadow. Scum served to you on a silver platter.

expect Stargate is claiming to have been delayed the night i tried to visit Curtis

I’m one of 3 people he claims visited Curtis. (I do not visit anyone again but that’s beside the point) Ahoda and Im317 apparently visited him too.

except according to Stargate i visited him night 2 and not Curtis. i know Farlig later claimed that his role tells him everyone who targeted someone not visited but it seems excessive that it would say someone who attempted to target someone but ended up somewhere else. i have heard of and even used a role that tells you everyone that visited someone but it would not include people who ended up not visiting for some reason. not just a redirect but someone who was blocked trying to target that person would also not show up.

awfully convenient that when he rechecked the wording it suddenly covered a very specific scenario.

Interesting. You say things were identical on your end for n1 and n3, but im317 is insistent that n1 failed and n3 succeeded. I guess he could have nexus'd somewhere else, but things aren't entirely adding up.

yeah this is what is weird to me. i was told i was unsuccessful night 1 but that i was successful nights 2 and 3.

My two cents about the nexus thing/317 ending up in different spots/etc etc is that there is most likely missing information (probably related to a scum role; it would make sense to mess with Rose-Kevin). 317 is it possible scum has an identical role/flavour? I need to reread all of that exchange to fully grasp what is happening.

i suppose its possible. i speculated about it in one of my posts earlier today.

Shadow and JJ both claim to have not been correct as JJ doesn’t visit and in the case of shadow his listed actions did not include badger

i did try to delay Curtis but Stargate claims to have been delayed that night so something is off
