All right. I'm gonna read a book a month. That's 12 books a year!

The January book is Annihilation by Jeff Vandermeer. It's sci-fi and the first book in a trilogy that's allegedly getting made into a movie.

Description: Area X has claimed the lives of members of eleven expeditions. The twelfth expedition consisting of four women hopes to map the terrain and collect specimens; to record all their observations, scientific and otherwise, of their surroundings and of one another; and, above all, to avoid being contaminated by Area X itself.

It's only 200 ish pages. Seems doable by February. Those that want to embark on this literary adventure, please feel free to join.

Read this book and no one dies.
