Emily takes in the scene in front of her with horror.

Well, I was right that someone needed me.

Emily opens her mouth to speak to the boy but nothing comes out. She reflexively puts her hand to her throat.. and yet she instinctively knows nothing is wrong with her voice. It's the theater. Or, something in the theater, rather.

Emily notices both the boy and the ... ghost have both noticed her. The boy's eyes are pleading with her for help. The ghost doesn't look pleased.

Ghost? Yes, there is no other explanation and she can feel the spirit's energy, although she's not sure how.

Trust yourself.

Mr. Robinson's words come back to her.

Emily quickly surveys her surroundings.

[OOC: Do I need you to give me the layout of the theater and exactly where I'm standing?]

Emily walks down the aisle, toward the stage. She stops when she comes to the aisle separating the first section of seating from the stage area. She keeps her eyes on the ghost and sees it circling its prey, protectively.

In her peripheral vision, Emily can see the damaged seats to her right. She leans down and pulls one of the chair arms.

Emily just catches herself from falling. She looks at the broken theater chair arm. It doesn't look particularly weak.

Must be me. I'm stronger than I thought.

Emily watches the scene in front of her. She has the ghost's attention but its still circling the boy. She sees him make a run for it while the ghost follows. The beam of light seems to move the ghost.

Emily's eyes follow the beam of light up to the spotlight and sees the projector. The balcony is partially collapsed on one side but it looks like she could navigate her way up to the projector area.

Emily moves to her left, heading toward the partially collapsed balcony.

Emily reaches the portion of the balcony which hangs down toward the theater floor. If she could climb up... and reach the projector. Emily decides to climb.

Well, that didn't go well. Emily looks back up at the balcony and then back at the ghost and the boy. He's tangled in the exit curtain but the ghost still had a grip on him.

Her head hurts, her side hurts, but she can't think about this now.

Emily rushes toward the ghost.

Emily rolls: 7. (2 + 5 = 7) + 2 Tough = 9

Emily poises against the ghost. She sees the boy run behind her in her peripheral vision. The Ghost takes a swipe but it feels less damaging than she expects. Emily feels strong standing up to this ghost.

Emily looks at the movie playing on the screen and looks at the ghost. The name Gwendoline flashes on the screen. She looks familiar. She looks up and sees the kid throwing his hoodie over the spotlight. Hopefully this will work.

Emily braces for a battle.
