I was labeled a "Soc" (pronounced "soash") even though I really wasn't. I just had a lot of friends who were in that group, but I also had nerd friends, stoner friends (we called them "Hoods" - the ones who hung out in the "smoking area" ), etc. I was kind of in the middle.

Yeah, The Outsiders pre-dates me (just a bit lol) but I did have to google it to be able to spell the word. :P
