It's getting better. It's funny how some of these people are really great at lying while others are so bad. The sketch artist guy should be on Survivor.
I'm so curious to see where on Earth the story goes. They crammed so much into the first episode and I kept questioning what would be left for the rest. I'm excited
Every episode I keep saying "Oh there's still X episodes left, I wonder how they managed that. It couldn't possibly get more twisted" and yet it manages to each and every time. It is one of the most fucked up things I've ever watched.
This is horrible. Soooo frustrating!

What is wrong with that kid's lawyer? All he obviously cars about is how he looks in his press conferences. His own investigator basically does the same thing to him that the police did.
I definitely think there was police/prosecutorial corruption going on but I still think Avery most likely did it. I think evidence was planted to make sure he was convicted, though. There was some evidence left out of the documentary. Like, the victim had issues with Avery before. Alledgedly, he would always request she be the one to come out and photograph vehicles. One time she came out and he greeted her in only a towel. She was creeped out and told her boss she didn't want to go back there. He apparently gave his sister's name when he requested she come out to photograph the van on the day she was last seen. And he blocked his number twice when he called her on the day she supposedly disappeared.
I don't think his nephew was involved in her murder. Especially not the way it's depicted in his "confession." His first attorney really screwed him over and he should get a new trial because of that.
Also, Ken Kratz, the prosecutor was involved in a scandal and resigned sometime after the documentary. He was texting suggestive comments to female victims who he was supposed to be representing/protecting.
I'm still only partway through this but the ending of episode 4 was p. thrilling

with the punctured bottle of his blood. I couldn't believe it

I don't think the puncture means anything. I watched Dateline a week or so ago and they talked about how all the collection bottles have this. BUT, the fact the tape was broken HAS to mean something!
