Besides gender alliances suck. Arbitrary reasons are a ridiculous basis for an alliance.

I actually agree with this (esp in ORGs cause that's especially dumb), but as a woman I understand the motivation behind the female alliance idea. I would actually like to see a group of strong women make it to the end together and not let showmances etc get in the way. It's more that I'd like to see women not make each other look bad and weak, I guess. But yeah, you can't just align with someone based on their gender or based on being the first 8 in the house, etc.
