Ah Christmas! Your favorite time of year. This year, your family is having Christmas in the ancestrial home of your great great great grandfather, F.E Ntertainment (you always wondered why he had such a weird name). The Ntertainment family Christmas was always fun -- your family is so big! 33 people! That's a lot of people.

Your family was serving the first course of the day - some light finger snacks to begin. And everyone brought their gifts and was putting them under the big Christmas tree. It was so joyous! Everyone was having so much fun! Although you noticed that some people maybe were looking a bit glum, but hey, seasonal depression happens to the best of us right?

Great Grampy was munching on some spinach dip when suddenly he clutched his chest. You looked over but before you could do anything, it was too late. Everyone cried and shouted for a few seconds before the lights flashed. The Alexa Smart Home (tm) then turned on and said

"None of you will be making it out of here alive."

And chaos ensued.

With Alexa's ominous message, the entire family party went into hysterics. Fingers pointed every which way. A lot of them went towards Nofo. "Nofo, you're a liar!" "Nofo, I'm going to call you D*ve and you're going to like it!"

Nofo raised his hands in the air, "I'm hated townie! Why do you all hate me?"

With the Ntertainment family in chaos, Jake seemed to be incredibly quiet. Eventually people came to sympathize with Nofo and pointed their fingers at Jake. "He said he was going to lurk! Let's get him!"

Jake did not say anything in response, because he was just lurking that hard.

There was some tension as the vote was tied, but at the last second, Jake got the most votes. The family surrounded him, picking him up and tossing him out of the house into the harsh winter storm that had surrounded the house.

But when they noticed a medicine kit that Jake had left behind, the family collectively said, "Oh shit."

Welcome, Jake, to Christmas Mafia 2k17. You are the hot surgeon uncle. For once, you managed to get Christmas off, which is honestly just incredible because you get to spend it with your family! Occasionally you notice your nieces (and maybe...a couple of your nephews?) taking a quick peek at you for a little bit too long. It makes you a bit uncomfortable but, hey, it’s tough looking this good. When things start going awry at the holiday party, you realize that this might not be a night off the job after all You are the doctor. Each night, you may select one person. That person will be immune to night kills. You may not visit the same person two nights in a row. You are aligned with the TOWN. You win when all threats to the town have been eliminated.

It is now Night 2. Night actions are due at 10:30 PM EST tomorrow.

Due to the holiday weekend, we will probably either have a very long D2, or perhaps just take a pause on the game for the holidays. We'll keep you posted, and if you have any particular preference either way, just let us know via PM, and we'll probably do whichever option we hear the most. Thanks!
