FURIOSA prequel coming with George Miller coming back outta retirement to direct/write once more. Sooorta wish it was just a sequel so Theron could still be in the role but I trust Miller

this was good! It was no Fury Road, but it wasn't entirely trying to be either. It still had some great action sequences (not as good as the OG, but certainly better than 90% of other recent movies) but this was much more plot and character heavy

still think it suffers from being a prequel, it's really tough to step out of the original's shadow when you know how these characters end up. In some ways it starts feeling like one long expository flashback rather than its own movie (especially whenever we'd cut to the Citadel crew). But the new additions were pretty good, Dementus was a fun foil to Immortan Joe

Anya was good, but I think I still slightly prefer Charlize

seeing the Fury Road clips interlaced into the credits was an odd choice. Nothing against Furiosa but it made me wish I was watching that movie instead, which is NOT a great note to walk out on!
