this whole saga has been the most entertaining offseason storyline in a long time. The Gruden phonecall he posted last night (for whatever reason) was the peak
idk what the Pats deal will be but for now he literally just cost himself $30 million guaranteed for seemingly no reason. It's all so bizarre

wouldn't Gronk be more likely to come back if they're already doing well

I couldn't help but laugh at this part tho
|
Later that afternoon, Brown found a severed salmon head, which Tedeschi was saving to use in a soup, in the freezer. According to Tedeschi, Brown accused the chef of making a mafia-style threat against his life.
Brown subsequently refused to pay the $38,521.20 owed to the chef |

rly glad I have Patriots D in one of my leagues this year. That's my silver lining to this early season domination

I mean I'd take a Jets blowout ANY week of ANY season tho
no matter how many SBs the Pats win I'll still root for them during those two games

I also root for them against the Packers! So that's sometimes THREE games a year!

I think I'm about 1 week from giving up on the NFL season for 2019. The Steelers are bad, and the Vikings can't throw a forward pass. |
I still don't get why the Steelers gave the Dolphins their first rounder for Fitzpatrick when this clearly isn't their year but I'll take it. Looking like a top 10 pick rn

Belichick made Matt Cassel look good lol. That season is singlehandedly the biggest knock against Brady cuz it's the only glimpse at this Patriots team without him
If you stuck Marino or Rodgers on this Belichick dynasty they're instant GOATs

And to me the Championship argument is so ridiculous.
By that Trent Dilfer is better than Dan Marino.
And a good example right now is Eli. There’s a lot of debate on if he should make the HOF. The guy has TWO SB MVPs. Meaning his performance in those games were better than anyone else in the game. And it was the biggest games.
It takes a team. |
oh come on. Super Bowl MVP does not always go to the best player. often not even the best player in that game. the Giants entire starting D line was better then Eli in both those games. |
yeah but this is nothing new, if there's any question it always defaults to a QB, just like regular season MVP
same reason why Brady got it over James White a couple years back
