Thought there was already a thread for this but I couldn't find it?
Anyway, the release date for Season 4 has been officially announced! May 26
And it's now 15 episodes rather than 10!

It was pretty good! I'm sure it'll only get better from here.
I agree with Leos that Michael was acting a bit out of character. I mean it's kinda funny seeing him so pathetic but...Michael was never as stupid as he acted in this episode.
Kristen Wiig was great as Lucille. I hope she shows up some more
"Have you ever been on a plane you piece of shit?" <-- lol'd SO hard at this line. It's not even that great of a line but Bateman's delivery was perfect
The whole voting scene was hilarious
I liked the "trial version" gag they used for the montages |

| Second episode was kinda meh. It had some good moments but I liked the first episode a lot better. The flashback with the "we have the best fucking attorneys" line was hilarious though. I'm loving the George/Lucille flashbacks. |

Pretty good! First episode is still the best so far though.
Portia de Rossi looks...different now. Did she get plastic surgery or something? She looked a LOT better before.
I liked:
- the salesman conning Lindsay
- Tobias on methadone
- "six sticks. NO SAUCE!" *swings gavel*
- the reveal of Maeby being in the real estate office. Nice CALLBACK to the Buster gags |

Good ep!
All of the Bruckheimer jokes were hilarious. "Yeah... Jerry's not gonna get off the boat for this one"
The team of Andy, Carl, and the Warden was great. I didn't like the Warden that much in the original run but he was really funny here

Best episode yet. Tobias on To Catch a Predator was too perfect
lol'd so hard at the undercover cops outside of Disneyland
Can't wait for Gob's episode. There's been hardly any of him in these first five episodes. His "...gay?" line to Tobias was hilarious though |

"I almost thought that was a real guy!" was an amazing joke
Hello Darkness My Old Friend interspersed throughout was hilarious. Especially after the narrator says "For the first time, Gob was surrounded by unconditional love by a family". The musical cues like this/Mr. F/etc are some of my favorite AD jokes |

Maeby's episode was actually really good! Her becoming her mother's pimp was so great.
"Add a 'the'. It's cleaner. Like 'The Netflick'." lol'd
I loved how they explained George Michael's change in looks by saying he was "worn by the harsh winds of the sea"

That ending was...a bit underwhelming. I knew there wouldn't be a ton of closure because they're setting up the movie/possibly more episodes, but still. The set-up was good but there wasn't much of a pay-off for the season. And it was pretty disappointing that the family never all got together for some scenes. I thought that's what it was all leading up to since they were all so separated throughout the season.
OH WELL! Still great. I wouldn't rank it quite as highly as the original seasons but it came pretty damn close at times. |
