in very obvious news, this got delayed again til Spring 2021
theaters are FUCKED. Down to just Wonder Woman and Dune on the schedule as far as blockbusters go? | |

it was solid, I'd probably put it second after Casino Royale as far as Craig's movies go. The beginning and the end of it were good while the middle sagged a bit
Ana de Armas was great, wish she was in it more. Kinda funny how heavily she was pushed in the marketing for the actual size of the role she had. She had way more chemistry with Craig than Seydoux or the new 007
Malek was kinda wasted and was just a very thinly drawn textbook Bond villain. Waltz was more effective in his single scene (and I never saw Spectre so it's not even like I was already familiar with that character)

liked the way Bond went out / the decision to actually take him out (at least this iteration). Pretty suitably epic
found the cheesy one-liners kinda jarring tbh. I know that's a Bond staple but really feels weird in THIS iteration of Bond. Worst one by far was the new 007's "You know what time it is?? Time......to DIE!!" |
