Inside Out and Incredibles are the only two I've seen from the remaining list
Inside Out was p gr8, not a huge fan of Incredibles but it's alright

100% it's because they gave a sympathetic portrayal of the critic/made him a sort of central character and they IDENTIFIED with that. I can't think of any other explanation

I kinda WISH I got more emotional during movies tbh. I'll get chills sometimes but only a couple movies have made me genuinely tear up

The box office is only one thing too, they need to keep making them to keep that juicy merchandise money flowing. They've made multi-billions off of that

was gonna make a new thread for this but there's already two threads discussing it so I'll just stick it here
Anyway Soul was real good! Almost like a combination of Inside Out and Coco in a way. I'm with Curt tho in thinking Coco was way overrated, just watched it for the first time a couple months ago and didn't get a lot out of it despite all the hype

Actually felt way more geared towards adults than children which was cool. |
def agree. I actually wondered how much kids will get out of this one considering it was basically an animated existential crisis
