It doesn't have the word "finger" after it. You've got the pinky finger, ring finger, middle finger, index finger, and then just a THUMB.

I've never ONCE heard someone refer to it as "pinky finger". It's just pinky

I will agree its the only finger that can drop the finger part of it. But it is regularly called the pinky finger. You've gotta get out more Bocky Boy.
