I thought the episode might end with them still living together but the parental block would be permanently broken like it was for a bit there. So Sarah would only see her mom's blurred face and wouldn't be able to really hear here. MOM WATCHED SARA AND NOW SARA CAN'T EVEN SEE MOM!
But that'd be too over the top and probably a fixable glitch by the company so it wouldn't really land (: . But that felt like the Black Mirror-ish direction they might take it |
actually that would've made sense since it sounded like the Arkangel company was now defunct. That would've been pretty good but maybe too similar to White Christmas | |
Did anyone notice Sara's second drawing that the mom looks at in the child psychologist's office? Without spoiling, it looked like a certain scene from Shut Up and Dance. I'm almost certain it was |
not sure but I could've sworn it was Men Against Fire on the screen where they were testing out the parental advisory for the first time | Episode was alright, felt like they were gonna do way more with it. Kinda like Curt mentioned, I think a way better direction would've been delving into the psychological/sociological effects later in life of having the Arkangel on. Instead it was just kinda bland/safe, but the ending was at least somewhat interesting
Also Trick was definitely the best part character/acting-wise. Was disappointed that character didn't get more closure, I thought Sarah might've been rushing off to meet him at the end |
