Had a golden retriever and then a black lab growing up, both are some of the friendliest breeds (while also being relatively smart)

Ellie's a German/Australian shepherd mix but the former part of that def shows out more with her personality. Not very friendly towards strangers (tho that also has to do with being a rescue I'm sure) but super loyal towards people she trusts and pretty intelligent

My cousin has this giant husky which is the most gentle giant. Rly cool dogs
