I've been pretty much everywhere in the US except New England/Alaska/Hawaii
Only time I've been outside the country was for a cruise in the Bahamas though. I'd definitely like to visit more countries, Iceland/New Zealand being at the top of the list

oh hey forgot about this thread
last year I definitely upped my traveling and had my first two big international trips, a two-week trip to Japan w/ some friends and a five day trip to Germany with Papa J. Definitely hoping to do more this year, got a few potential ones in the WORKS. Both international and domestic are on the table, I've been to a lot of the States but most of that was as a kid/teen, so I'm definitely due. Especially the national parks, would love to go back to Yellowstone. And maybe even check out Moab.....??
a few random pics from last year

Last September I did my first solo trip to London, UK. First time out of North America. I stayed for a week, saw the Man United/Arsenal game, hung out with the Arsenal fans after, did some of the traditional London sightseeing stuff. I did the Wembley Stadium tour, visited some family and friends who lived there, did Stonehenge, and Bath trip, saw Abbey Road and saw some other sights.
This year, I'm going solo again to Europe, going to Berlin, Warsaw, Krakow, Budapest, Vienna, Prague and back to Germany (Frankfurt). This will be a 2 week vacation in May.
Later in the year I'm traveling to Chicago to watch the Jays take on the Cubbies and hang out for the weekend. |
if you have time, definitely would recommend a day trip to Heidelberg when you're in Frankfurt (it's about 90 min away by train). Frankfurt has some cool stuff too but is much heavier on the modern city side than the historical side
