I still like Dave Franco, just because Han has never been a completely serious role. Whoever they pick needs to have charisma. Which is why I agree it shouldn't be Miles Teller even though I like him in other roles
They were the one thing I was excited about in the new SW universe. Pretty sure they just left because Disney wants to make yet another safe, bland SW movie that'll tick all the boxes of what audiences are used to
I love Ron Howard almost as much as his daughter ... he's too big a director to get bullied by Disney, he'll get it done.
I mean, I can't see there being much of a conflict anyway which is probably why they picked him. He's a solid, workmanlike director who doesn't really have a unique feel to his movies. So pretty much the polar opposite of Lord/Miller
nah they didn't, the Kasdans did. The RUMOR is that they were trying a bunch of improv on set (which they've always done, especially with the Jump Street movies) and the Kasdans got upset that they were going off-script so a line in the sand was drawn and Disney ended up siding with them. There's a chance a few of the lines they improvised could make it past editing tho, who knows
