I watched the first two episodes last night actually, I like it so far. Isaac really carries it, Molina's pretty good too. The street-level characters are a bit underdeveloped at this point but I'm sure that'll change, considering that's Simon's strong suit | Just finished. The finale was really great. I liked the rest of series well enough but they really ramped everything up (in a good way) in the last hour. This pretty much cemented Isaac as one of my favorite current actors

Man, I did not see that ending coming. Kinda glad I didn't read up on any of this during/before I watched. I'm still not sure I'd call Nick a hero tho...at all? I mean through it all he made it clear that he only was doing any of it because he was left with no choice, and even voted to appeal the houses before he was mayor (which he did admit to changing his mind on later, but still). It never seemed to stem from him actually BELIEVING in any of it, just what was most pragmatic
also they were awfully kind to all of the IRL people with the actors they chose (: The real Nick looks nothing like Isaac |
