ya it feels like there really should be TWO more episodes to wrap this season up, but we'll see. I'm excited anyway. I do think the battle for Winterfell will be pushed to next season though...it'd be pretty lame for them to have that all take place in like 10 minutes. Especially when the battle for Castle Black got its own episode, which arguably had lower stakes

yeah I feel like they left that Brienne/Stannis ending so ambiguous that something else HAS to happen. She did look like she was having some second thoughts when he was so accepting and guilty-sounding. REALLY curious what's gonna happen there if so. And lol @ Brienne calling Renly the true king of the seven kingdoms. WAT! Renly had the worst claim to the throne out of all the five kings. He basically acknowledged that he didn't have a legit claim but simply wanted the throne and had the army to take it. I was hoping Stannis' last words would be him defiantly saying "I am the one true king"
That finale was awesome honestly, easily the best they've done. It WAS very rushed unfortunately, I wish they would've spread out those moments wayyyy more throughout the season (or pushed some back) but despite that I really enjoyed it. I KEPT WAITING FOR A BENJEN APPEARANCE THO! Though I'm half-glad it didn't happen because I would've been pissed about the Previously On spoiling such a huge event
Biggest disappointment for me was Theon/Sansa escape which was just...so underwhelming. One of my favorite chapters and it was reduced to a two minute scene. And lol, that jump seemed way more extreme on the show without the huge snow drifts to break their fall
Arya's scenes were probably my fav. How'd they get Arya's face! I thought those were all from dead people. That was trippy

Where the hell was ROOSE!
If Loosey Roosey faced Stannis the Mannis in one on one combat in this episode, who would you guys root for? |
at the beginning of the episode, Roose. But after Selyse hangs herself, half his army abandons him, and Mel hightails it out of there I couldn't help but feel terrible for the Mannis. Burns his daughter and it was all for nothing

Saddest moment was Davos' face when he realized Shireen was dead

WHERE WAS WUN WUN! They decide to include him and then he doesn't even factor into his biggest book scene

well the whole body was someone else's, they just superimposed her face onto it. Apparently she was pregnant when they were set to film that scene. It was pretty noticeable at times though

It caught up pretty much entirely with the books (and went ahead of them in Stannis' case). The only storyline I can think of that's still a bit behind is Arya's
and Varys' too, but with where he's at right now it seems like they're changing his plot entirely for the show

Melisandre will definitely resurrect Jon, which makes me wonder what will happen in the books. |
Why would it be different? Melisandre is at Castle Black in the books too. I doubt they'd change much about an event THAT big
Also Kevan showed up at the end of Cersei's walk. Kinda disappointed he wasn't in more of this season, I loved him verbally slamming Cersei in the books. I would've thought they'd at least have his scene in Cersei's cell but they gave that to Qyburn instead (another character I wish could've been shown more)

I saw that too but that's an old quote from him. They're adamant about Jon's death too but I believe that even less
But yeah if either of them actually is dead those will be the worst send-offs imaginable. I think the worst part about Stannis' would be them not even showing it because it'd apparently be 'gratuitous'. From a show that had a far more minor character in Oberyn get his head caved in onscreen
